Anti-crisis section of the MEF on Ilyinka

Biozevtika traditionally takes part in the Moscow Economic Forum, as well as various events (sections) held under its auspices. Thus, the next “anti-crisis” section of the IEF, which took place on September 29 in the building of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Ilyinka, did not go unnoticed. As usual, the event was moderated by Konstantin Anatolyevich Babkin, Co-Chairman of the Forum, President of the New Commonwealth Industrial Union. Among the speakers who presented their ideas on overcoming the crisis in which our country’s economy is increasingly sinking were Yuri Krupnov, Yuri Boldyrev, Valentin Katasonov, Valery Gartung, Konstantin Semin, Vladislav Zhukovsky, Anatoly Wasserman. There were also foreign guests there.

However, of particular interest was the report of Sergei Yuryevich Glazyev, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences and adviser to the President of the Russian Federation. This report was, as the saying goes, the ‘high point’ of the programme, setting the general direction for all subsequent discussions. A little earlier, a similar report by academician Glazyev, in which he expressed the same thoughts and ideas that he expressed at the time in the anti-crisis section of the MEF, caused a stir in economic and partly in political circles, thanks to the novelty and originality of the ideas for the way out of the crisis and the transition to a path of sustainable economic growth. Many opponents of S. Yu. Glazyev’s proposed economic course for the country’s development tried to openly defame his ideas – in our opinion without success. The ideas of industrial development and premature departure from the completely compromised neoliberal economic course in the spirit of the 1990s are already tangibly present on the socially discussed agenda, and no defamation can get rid of them. Particularly pronounced interest in new economic ideas is shown against the background of a deepening economic crisis, from which, by and large, there is no other way out than to switch to an active economic policy and reasonable stimulation of economic growth.

Well, we liked the report of Sergei Yuryevich Glazyev, the ideas and thoughts expressed in it seemed solid and worthy of implementation. We hope that the time is not far off when the government will nevertheless start to listen to the opinions of people who really know business. In addition to Glazyev’s report, there were also many other interesting speeches in the section, a full recording of the live broadcast of the anti-crisis section of the Moscow Economic Forum can be found in the video below.
